With the fashion month about to kick off once again i'm reminiscing on the one that's just gone by. I was happy to have had the opportunity to go to Florence( for 18 hours) for the HOOD BY AIR show and party. Hood By Air conceived by Minnesota native Shayne Oliver back in 2006 is a sort of amalgamation of fashion genres. While it does have urban undertones there's a conceptual mix of formal meets luxury sportswear. Anyways this year as special guest at Pitti Uomo he brought his "hood" to Italy.

As the car took us high above the city glittering with all its lights to the Villa Maiano we knew it was going to be a special night. The show was great but what really turned it up was the after party. A sweaty ass shaking booty dropping twerking on a handstand good time with an assorted NY x Milan crew Marcelo Burlon, Shayne Oliver, Mykki Blanco, Gilda Ambrosio, Alessandro Enriquez, Gilda Koral Flora and more. Needless to say we all needed to send our HBA to the dry cleaners after that night.

So another Milan or should we say PARIS hilton Fashion Week has come and gone. In past seasons things have tended to simmer to a slow sizzle on the party front BUT this season started off with an atomic bomb of a party. Dsquared2 celebrated their 20th anniversary with an over the top blow out organized by PR queen Natasha Slater featuring a performance by Mary J Blige, plenty of beats to get sweaty to, courtesy of the insanely cute DJ Cassidy and of course those crazy twins Dean and Dan and a slew of their colorful friends like Paris Hilton. Here's what went down and what was up.

Of course we all went out last night. Le Baron is in town and that is always a SITUATION. Massive bottles of vodka, tongue twister with strangers in dark booths, and ruined Vionnet dresses. Enjoy my diary from last night and I will go back to sleep on the Le Baron pillow I stole last night.
